Bremerton Wines was founded in 1988 by the Willson family, who established their vineyard in the Langhorne Creek region of South Australia. After purchasing an old alfalfa farm, the winery began producing small quantities of wine. The decision to invest fully in winemaking came after a flood in 1992. Today, the company is run by sisters Rebecca and Lucy. They have positioned Bremerton Wines as a leading winery, known worldwide for its premium wines from Langhorne Creek.

Every vintage gets careful attention for optimal quality.

To create the delicious wines, Rebecca sources the best grapes from her own vineyard and specialist vineyards in Langhorne Creek. She strives to make classic, full-bodied and flavourful wines that highlight the unique characteristics of the grapes. The winery has invested in high-quality oak barrels and uses steel fermenters, among other things, for a harmonious oak influence. They have also created new laboratories and tasting rooms to enhance the experience.

As a family-owned business, their ethos is to pass the land on to the next generation of winemakers in an improved environmental position. By participating in a regional environmental management programme and planting native species on their land, they ensure the development of safe corridors for local wildlife.
