Domaine de la Cadeniere

Domaine la Cadenière was founded in Vallon de La Cadenière in the 1950s. In 1973, the Tobias family members made their first wine, building on the winemaking knowledge of their grandparents and parents. The estate is now managed by brothers Vincent, Pierre and Gabriel, along with their sister Sylvie. The estate, which now covers 59 hectares of vineyards, lies entirely within the AOC Coteaux d'Aix-en-Provence, a prestigious wine-growing region in Provence.

Traditional viticulture with organic practices to make wines from high quality produce.

Wines that the wealth of the terroir of the Provence record.

The Vallon d'Escale is a special piece of the estate, acquired in 2000 by the Tobias brothers. This 21-hectare plot is located near an ancient Greco-Roman road, where archaeological remains show that the land was in use for viticulture for more than 2,000 years. The area, a peaceful valley, used to be an important passage for shepherds. Engravings in the old sheepfold indicate regular passages since the 18th century, highlighting the rich historical importance of the land.

Wine made with passion, respect and tradition.

The brothers Tobias share a passion for wine and preserving the biodiversity of their terroir, which has led them to adopt organic farming methods. Since 2012, the estate has officially achieved organic certification, which means no chemical pesticides or fertilisers are used. Instead, they use natural methods to keep the vineyards healthy, such as applying compost and promoting biodiversity within and around the vineyards.

Sustainable, organic, and full of character.
