The estate covers 65 hectares in tiny Château-Thébaud, a subzone of the prestigious Muscadet Sèvre-et-Maine appellation. The soil, consisting of quartz-shaped, granular yellow granite, is ideal for producing rich, full-bodied Muscadet wines. In addition, this particular terroir also supports the cultivation of their 15 other grape varieties, including Melon de Bourgogne, Chardonnay, Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Fié Gris, Côt Malbec, Petit Manseng, Gewürztraminer, and Berligou. Berligou is a historic Breton grape variety from the 15th century that has been rediscovered and grown again by the estate.
