Recanati Winery is committed to sustainability by minimising the use of chemicals and applying advanced technologies such as fertigation and plant monitoring. This method analyses soil moisture, water uptake and plant development so that vines receive just the right amount of water and nutrients, resulting in more concentrated fruit and lower yields. In addition, Recanati continuously researches microterroirs in Israel to determine optimal growing locations. In collaboration with Bar-Ilan University, they work to preserve indigenous grape varieties, such as the Marawi and Bittuni, which have been grown in Israel since Biblical times.
