Silly Brewery, founded in 1850 in the Belgian village of Silly, has a rich history that began with a local focus on beers. The family business expanded its operations as demand for Belgian craft beers grew. Today, Brasserie de Silly remains true to its artisanal roots, and the brewery is a benchmark in terms of quality. Brasserie de Silly produces a range of Belgian beers. Each beer is traditionally brewed with the best raw materials: pure water, unique yeast of which only the master brewer knows the secret, the best hops and quality malt.

Six generations of master brewers.

Today, cousins Lionel and Betrand, run this wonderful family business. They are now the 6th generation, so the love and passion for beer has been instilled in them. With over 17 beers, they have won many international awards over the years. How about the Silly Saison, a unique amber-coloured saison. A refreshing, sweet and fruity drinker. But the Silly kriek will also please lovers of fruit beers. This harmonious mix of wheat beer and cherries has a sublime taste that is unparalleled.

Silly Brewery has taken several initiatives to contribute to the circular economy. They reuse residual products such as spent grains (used as animal feed) and are exploring the possibility of recycling yeasts for applications in the food and cosmetics industries. CO2 from the fermentation process is also captured to reduce ecological impact. In addition, 400 solar panels reduce energy consumption by 25% and steam pipe insulation is being implemented to reduce energy losses. The brewery also encourages take-back and recycling of bottles and beer crates.
