Teperberg

Teperberg Winery, founded in 1870, is one of Israel's oldest and largest wineries, located near kibbutz Tzora in the Judaean Hills. Originally started in Jerusalem's Old City as "Efrat" by Avraham and Zeev Zaid Teperberg, the winery moved to various locations over the years, including Motza in 1967. In 2002, Teperberg began to focus on more refined, modern wines and settled in Tzora. Today, the winery produces around 10 million bottles annually, combining tradition with modern winemaking techniques to create quality wines with a unique Israeli character.

Perfect balanced wines, made with Israeli craftsmanship.

Teperberg Winery manages 350 hectares of vineyards, from Negev in the south to Upper Galilee in the north, and highlights Israel's unique terroir with a diverse selection of grapes. For red wines, this includes Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Petit Verdot and Malbec. For white wines, they focus on Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, as well as Semillon, Chenin Blanc and French Colombard. Grapes are sourced from specific vineyards to capture the best characteristics of each region. The winery offers a wide range of wines, including the Well Harvest 5 series, which honours five generations of winemakers. This series includes the Vision, Impression, Inspire, Essence and Legacy lines.

Teperberg Winery is committed to sustainability through eco-friendly farming, efficient water management strategies and energy-saving techniques. The vineyards use precision farming to minimise water consumption and cultivate native grape varieties, which lowers ecological impact. Biological control methods keep the ecosystem in balance. Energy efficiency is applied in the winery with modern temperature regulation, while grape residues are recycled for compost and other uses. Wastewater is reused for irrigation. Through this approach, Teperberg not only produces quality wines, but also contributes to the preservation of the Israeli landscape and a more sustainable future for the wine industry.
