Château Sipian, Jéroboam

Description
Château Sipian - Typical Medoc! Elegant, warm, purple-black colour. Characterful Médoc nose, with beautiful notes of wood, cassis, bay leaf, dark cherries and toasty oak. In the taste, these tones are also very perceptible. A full wine; beautifully round, refined, balanced and very characteristic.

Description

Château Sipian, Cru Bourgeois du Médoc since 1932, is situated on the left bank of the Gironde. A privileged geographical location which alone makes for a unique wine. Frédéric Mehaye is the owner and winemaker. He works extremely hard and with an incredible amount of passion.

In 1978, where the Chateau Sipian is now located, Nicole and Bernard Mehaye bought a piece of wasteland and planted their first vines there. In 1989, their son and current owner also joined the company. After his training in oenology and his experience in the prestigious châteaux of Bordeaux, he is a great asset to the company. In the coming years his goal is to produce the best Médoc of all Médoc's with several big names in the wine world; and he is well on his way!
