Château Haut Chaigneau Lalande de Pomerol

Description
Chatonnet Chateau - 2018 is a very good vintage for Haut-Chaigneau... Seductive, with good structure on the palate and a very good finish. Also particularly rich in tannins, with unprecedented complexity and exceptional aromatic and flavourful freshness. This due to a natural concentration coupled with the small yield (36hl/ha). A vintage that consumers will be able to appreciate immediately, but which will also certainly age... Even with an estimated potential superior to that of 2015 and equivalent to, and perhaps even superior to, that of 2016.

Description

Château Haut Chaigneau Lalande de Pomerol

The Chatonnet Chateau owes its premium quality and insane flavour to a true wine family that has woven its great passion and years of experience into the wine... The Chatonnet family's vineyards, which are among the most famous in the region, lie at the crossroads of the appellations Lalande de Pomerol, Saint-Emilion and Montagne Saint-Emilion, where they grow the best grape varieties from the right bank: Black Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Malbec.

Each parcel is harvested at optimum ripeness, ensuring the grape always has perfect flavour. Each parcel is harvested at optimum ripeness and vinified separately using the most appropriate techniques. The wines are then delicately aged in underground cellars with architecture unique to the region.
