Chiusa Grande

Chiusa Grande is one of the most certified organic wine producers in Europe. The winery is located in the Abruzzo region of Italy where the rolling hills near the Italian mountains Gran Sasso and Majella surround the 55 hectares of vineyards. The microclimate experiences large temperature differences between day and night, giving the grapes unique characteristics and optimal properties for making delicious wine.

About the wine

Chiusa Grande Integro Chardonnay Frizzante is not only an organic wine. The last remaining sugar is also fermented in the bottle. Classic taste of Chardonnay with recognisable notes of honey, banana and an exotic touch; only slightly fuller and more aromatic because of the production method. The yeast remains in the bottle after production, as does the carbon dioxide through natural fermentation. No sulphur is added to the wine either.
