Las Ninas
The estate of
Las Ninas was born at the end of the 1990s. One day, while travelling around the world, three French families happened to set foot on Chilean soil and fell under the spell of the Colchagua Valley, south of Santiago. These adventurers, captivated by the local terroir, decided to live there and follow their dream of becoming winegrowers. They moved into a beautiful house in the heart of Apalta: the Casa Patronal. As a tribute to their daughters and wives, the three fathers decided to name the vineyard Viña Las Ninas, which means the girls' vineyard.
The girls - Las Ninas - threw themselves into the work of the estate with passion and enthusiasm, so much so that the vines were christened in their honour. After three years of work, the first bottles left the cellars with a quality comparable to the best other wines of the region.
In 2021, Joseph Helfrich, a passionate winegrower from the French Alsace region, also fell under the spell of this vineyard and decided to buy it. In order to keep the tradition alive, Las Niñas is still run by one family with the ambition to introduce the world to the beauty and richness of the wines from the Colchagua Valley.
Las Ninas Chardonnay - Beautiful and bright golden yellow colour. In the nose subtle aromas of peach, apricot, citrus fruit, butter and toast. The taste is balanced, fresh, round and persistent. This wine takes you to the special, beautiful, natural and harmonious place where it comes from.
