Description

Planas Albareda is one of the few authentic family wineries where artisanal cavas are made. The family makes different cavas; from pure Brut to Brut Nature, white or rosé, and from sparkling wines to Gran Reservas. The winery and its vineyards are located in Vilobí del Penedès, a beautiful village in the heart of Alt Penedès. This region is privileged with a good climate. In the vineyards of D.O. Cava grow old vines Xarello, Parellada, Macabeo, Trepat and Chardonnay. No insecticides, chemical aids, aroma improvers, colourings or flavourings are used and this sparkling wine contains no added sulphites. It may well be the most elegant bubbly you have ever tasted!
