Nieto Senetiner, Chardonnay

Description
Nieto Senetiner, Chardonnay - Light yellow wine with fresh green tones. Late harvested grapes provide intense aromas of tropical fruits such as apple, mango and pineapple. The mouthfeel is nicely rounded with tropical fruit tones and some hints of vanilla. A refreshing acidity and a very good length make for a fine finish.

Description

The history of Nieto Senetiner Winery dates back to 1888, when Italian immigrants founded the first vineyards in Vistalba, Luján de Cuyo, a province of Mendoza.

Nieto Senetiner has become one of the best wineries in Mendoza. The vineyards were redeveloped in 1969 and are still being expanded. Nieto Senetiner has vineyards in almost all the most beautiful regions of Mendoza. From here, they produce classic and modern wines that are characterised by a uniquely attractive balance between power and finesse, making them some of the best wines in Mendoza.

The top wines come from very old vineyards in the famous Agrelo sub-region. Winemaker Santiago Mayorga has taken the wines to a higher level and was named 'Young Winemaker of the year 2017' by Tim Atkin.
