Rouquet's Chardonnay

Description
Rouquet's Chardonnay has a lemon-yellow colour. Aromas of ripe fruit and apple that, with age, evolve into notes
of butter and walnut. In the mouth, it is full and round with a slight acidity that gives it a pleasant freshness.

Description

In the high garrigue, twenty kilometres north of Montpellier, a very characteristic silhouette stands out. The bold profile of the Pic Saint-Loup exudes an almost mystical atmosphere. From its height, it overlooks the plains and the slopes, at the foot, where the traditional villages lie, between pine forests and garrigue grassland.
The Pic Saint-Loup terroir is the northernmost of the Languedoc terroirs. The combination of a Mediterranean and continental climate creates the special character of Rouquet's Chardonnay. The differences in daytime and night-time temperatures in late summer promote the finesse and character of this wine. This diversity gives rise to an exceptional terroir for wines with a strong personality. It is therefore no surprise that Rouquet's Chardonnay comes with a taste and character all its own. On the palate, it is full-bodied and, due to its light acidity, fresh, allowing bright tones of fresh fruit and and fresh apple to emerge strongly...
