Viven Ale Special Belge

Viven Ale Special Belge - A beer style created 100 years ago as the Belgian answer to the low fermentation imported beers. Meet our challenger to the traditional lagers: accessible, fruity and above all chauvinistic.

Aroma and Taste
In the aroma, notes of malt, citrus, mocha. Hoppy and slightly bitter. The Goldings hops do a fine job of balancing the fruity and bitter flavours. Fruity accents of peach and apricot.

Viven Brewery
Get to know Brouwerij Viven. A small but fine microbrewery located in picturesque Damme, close to Bruges. The beers and their typical flavours are created by Krystle Kerckaert, one of the few female brewers in Belgium. The core idea? Applying the Belgian art of brewing to non-Flemish beers.
