Bremerton

Dark horse of the
Australian wine world

Bremerton is the 1988 creation of the Willson family and has grown into what wine writer James Halliday calls one of the 'dark horses' of the Australian wine world. Bremerton is one of those hidden gems on the threshold of a definitive breakthrough. The Willsons' success is the fruit of hard work and an unprecedented sense of community.

The special connection to the vineyards and the vines has grown over several generations. Already in 1881 the estate was founded by the forefather Jean-Baptiste Hellers. With joy and commitment to viticulture and hospitality they have been working on the Zilliken Wine Estate for four generations now. Since 2009 the new generation - Patrick Zilliken and his wife Martina - have taken over the farm from their parents.
