A flavoursome Riesling Beerenauslese with notes of flowers, honey, pickled ginger, orange peel, gingerbread, apricot and citrus on the nose. On the palate nicely sweet with fresh acids of pineapple and lime. Subtle spiciness and a long finish characterised by citrus aromas.

'Beerenauslese' literally means 'selective grape harvest'. In Austrian classification, these wines are above Auslese and are the equivalent of our ice and straw wines. Including the fact that they are usually the best quality grapes allowed to overripen in the vineyard. So it is a dessert wine with a very high residual sugar content.
