Demarie Nebbiolo d'Alba DOC 2020 - The wine has partly deep, partly subdued colours that transform from brilliant ruby red to deep carnet during ageing. The aroma of this wine is ethereal and intense, with enchanting hints of violets, raspberries and blackberries, subtly infused with a hint of spice. The palate is complex and intense, with a refined fragrance. It reveals pleasant fruity nuances such as cherries, raspberries and wild strawberries, which blend harmoniously with the underlying spiciness of liquorice.

Demarie

Our story begins like other stories of the time: a man who believes in the potential of his area, and chooses to tell it through wine.

The man in question is Bartolomeo, our grandfather, founder of the Demarie winery.

A gamble - for the economy of the time - to invest in the wine sector; however, the first results came quickly and, through challenges and satisfactions, Giovanni, his son, as well as our father, also got involved in the business.

Since then, the company has continued to grow on the solid foundations built by the grandfather, and with the philosophy that has always characterised our work: genuine, traditional production, with special attention to protecting biodiversity.

Like us, future generations will learn the art of the vineyard and cellar. That of Roero is a knowledge that will be passed on and that we hope will one day reach our children too.
