Txakoli Rezabal Arri - Rezabal Txakoli Arri is a white wine made from Hondarrabi Zuri and Hondarrabi Beltza grapes, which are hand-picked from vineyards more than 50 years old. The grapes are selected and put in contact with the skins to extract aromas and increase the soft fat of the wine. The wine ferments partly in barrels and partly in stainless steel vats at low temperatures. The wine is then assembled and stored on the yeast.

Rezabal Txakoli Arri has a crystal yellow colour with an emerald sparkle. The wine has an elegant aroma of fruit such as pineapple, apple, apricot, boxwood, minerals and white flowers. The taste is seductive, with a fine bubble, subtle and balanced acidity and lush volume with a long finish.

Rezabal Txakoli Arri is a fresh and versatile wine with a fruity aroma. It is a perfect wine to serve with dishes of Basque cuisine, such as fish, seafood and shellfish. The wine is also a good choice to drink as an aperitif or dessert wine.

Description

Txakoli Rezabal

D.O. Getariako Txakolina is located in traditional Zarautz in the centre of Gipuzkoa. This region is considered the smallest D.O. in Spain. The vineyards are 300 metres above sea level. The soils are rich in minerals such as chalk and slate. The Atlantic climate gives the grapes personality. The high altitude combined with the high temperatures coming from the Bay of Biscay result in better aeration and natural freshness of the grape.

The vines are more than 35 years old and production of this 'Hondarribi Zuri' grape is very limited. Bodegas Rezabal combines traditional and modern methods to produce distinctive and high-quality wines. Fermentation takes place at a temperature of 15oC for 20 days, followed by a second fermentation that guarantees the development of primary aromas.
