Weingut von Hövel, ALTENBERG (Krettnach)

This old traditional location in the Saar was a long forgotten estate. In 2015, after some test expansions, Weingut von Hövel discovered this location itself. The very skeletal soil is dominated by blue devon slate and quartzite veins. The flavourful grapes from this unmistakable location are layered, structured and create a special tension in the wine. The variety of plots they have at this location and the years of experience ensure excellent quality wines.
