Domaine La Manarine, 'Terres Saintes' Plan de Dieu

Description
"The 2016 Chateauneuf du Pape Pied de Baud is only the second harvest and was tasted in June when it was still in the tank. Made from 100% Grenache grapes, this wine shows delicate aromas of black tea, rose petals and raspberries that have almost a Burgundian elegance. Despite its refinement, it is full-bodied and concentrated, with notes of red berries and a complex, minty finish. The style that owner Gilles Gasq (former cellar assistant at Monpertuis) has achieved with this small 1.5-hectare plot in Chateauneuf du Pape is admirable."
