About Teperberg

Teperberg was founded in 1870 and is based in Jerusalem. They are the oldest producer in Israel. They are also one of the top 3 largest producers. Every year they produce more than 9 million bottles of wine for wine lovers all over the world. Teperberg has vineyards all over Israel. From the desert in the south to the Upper Galilee in the north.

Five Generations

Avraham is the founder of Teperberg. As a young man he studied 'the ancient secrets of thousands of years of wine making' in Austria. After this he returned to Israel to plant the first vineyards. Meanwhile, Motti Teperberg is the manager of this winery. He is the 5th generation. He took over the management and further sharpened the art of winemaking. In addition, he created a personal touch and improved many processes of the winery. The winery corresponds to the vision that the Teperberg family has always had; to preserve the old winemaking tradition, with better innovations of today.
